carlos, born in venezuela, studied at andres bello university where he was active in the latin video festival (viart). in 2001 he earned his degree in mass communications and simultaneously developed tv projects for one of the premier production companies in the country. he also worked on short films, commercials, and the tv show sera o no sera. in 2002 he became a teacher for tv production studies at ucab university. in 2003 carlos moved to l.a. where he attended l.a. film school, earning honors as a major in cinematography. as a d.p. he has worked and collaborated on over fifteen film projects including fits. recently he's been collaborating with director zalman king as a d.p. for the tv series forty deuce.
